Confession

I think I fell of the Paleo wagon. I’ve been working out for around 6 months now and I haven’t made any monumental gains. My body fat percentage is at 11.11%, yet I have little to no muscle mass. I blame this on being low carb for so long. I’m naturally lean and tend to not hold onto stubborn weight so being low carb is really nothing special. As far as feeling better on Paleo, I wasn’t feeling bad to begin with. Sure, I had lethargy, but I blame that on not exercising for years. I’m not allergic to dairy, gluten, nuts, grains, wheat, legumes…you name it. So I’m back on grains, but with a very different perspective on food in general. Being Paleo has taught me to love real food. I no longer have a meal without vegetables something that I had never done before. I care more about eating organically and going that extra mile ( or 20 ) to get those farm raised eggs and raw milk. My love for unprocessed foods will never change and I will continue to eat as clean as possible.

I wanted my followers to be aware of changes in my diet. I don’t want to be misleading or preach things that I don’t follow. I will continue to eat as Paleo as possible ( if you want to call it that ), but with some extra grains thrown in whenever I hit the weights. I’ll also continue to do Crossfit. Wish me luck!
